Hi there!
My name is Heather and I grew up in an itty-bitty town in Oklahoma. Currently I live in
Tahlequah, OK where I work as
adjunct faculty for Northeastern State University teaching communication, theatre, and film. I
moved to Tahlequah two years ago from New Orleans where I received
my MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in performance with an emphasis in acting from the University of New Orleans. I have been working
as an actress since the age of five and have done several commercials, industrial films, independent films, and voice over
work in both Oklahoma and Louisiana. My recent film credits include the feature Wisteria: The Story of Albert Fish,
and the Shoot-n-Oklahoma winner The Granite Orchard.
I have a beautiful six-year-old son named Gabriel (who loves to draw), and a wonderful supportive husband, Brent,
who also works at NSU as a professor of theatre. We’re definitely an “artsy”
family!
Before moving to Tahlequah, I spent some time in Durant, OK where I worked as an actress, dancer, and educational director for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival. I spent five years with the Shakespeare Festival and appeared in several shows including
Titus Andronicus, in which I played Lavinia, my favorite and most challenging role to date!
I’m very excited to be a part of the Oklahoma
film community and can’t wait for what’s to come!
